Step-by-Step: Claiming Your Profiles

A detailed walkthrough for claiming and verifying Google Business Profiles for all three Cardzgroup office locations.

Step 1
Create a Google Account for Cardzgroup

Use a shared business email (e.g., marketing@cardzgroup.com) to create or designate the Google account that will manage all 3 profiles. Avoid using a personal account -- this should be a company-owned account accessible by multiple team members.

Step 2
Navigate to Google Business Profile Manager

Go to business.google.com and sign in. Select "Add your business to Google" or "Manage now." Search for each Cardzgroup location to check if a listing already exists (unclaimed).

Step 3
Enter Business Information for Each Location

For each office, enter: business name ("Cardzgroup Limited" for HQ, "Cardzgroup Africa" for Cape Town), full address, phone number, website URL, and business category. Use the exact addresses listed on Page 2.

Step 4
Verify Each Location

Google requires verification to prove you operate at each address. Methods vary by location: Postcard verification (5-14 day mail delivery), Phone verification (automated call to listed number), Video verification (record a video walking through the office). China and Pakistan locations may require postcard. Cape Town may have phone option.

Step 5
Link Locations Under One Brand

Once all 3 profiles are verified, set up a location group (business group) in GBP Manager. This allows centralized management of all locations from one dashboard. Assign local managers (Paddy Janneman for Cape Town, Adnan Hassan for Islamabad) as profile editors.

B2B Verification Tip

For B2B manufacturers without storefront foot traffic, Google may flag the listing as "service area business." Cardzgroup should claim as a standard business with a physical address, as all offices receive clients and have permanent staff. If challenged, provide business registration documents for each location.
